CHÂTEAU CAPENDU

Les Corbières

STORY

Very close to Carcassonne, this domain with the same name as its village has existed since the 19th century. Its technical buildings have an appealing historic charm with concrete vats which protect the wines from the variations in temperature. Nevertheless, a second modern wine cellar has been built with thermo-regulated stainless steel vats to enable even more precise blending.

TERROIR

The vineyard is located on the first slopes of the Alaric Mountain. It is made up of Mediterranean grape varieties Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah, perfectly suited to our terroir, to the clay-limestone soil and to the particularly challenging climate of the south of France.
