Why are resistant grape varieties so important?<\/h2>\n

Resistant grape varieties<\/strong> are grape varieties that are specially crossed to be more resistant to diseases and pests, reducing the use of treatments in our vineyards. To Jean-Claude Mas<\/strong>, organic viticulture<\/strong> is a key value, not a selling point. He has been cultivating according to organic management<\/strong> for years, allowing a greater biodiversity in the soils, offering better grapes and a better quality of wine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Domaines Paul Mas<\/strong> is proud to offer this sustainable alternative<\/strong> to its consumers, knowing that they have been produced in an environmentally friendly<\/strong> and more socially responsible<\/strong> manner. This is the result of 10 years of work on disease-resistant hybrids, capable of better resisting powdery mildew and downy mildew.<\/p>\n

Souvignier Gris:<\/h3>\n

This is the first vintage of this resistant grape varieties that we are bringing onto market.<\/p>\n

Souvignier Gris<\/strong> is a ros\u00e9 grape variety crossed between Cabernet Sauvignon<\/strong> and Bronner.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year, we are excited to bring the first vintage of resistant varieties<\/strong> to the market, with varieties like Souvignier Gris<\/strong>\/Vermentino or Souvignier Gris<\/strong>\/Sauvignon Blanc.<\/p>\n

In addition to Souvignier Gris<\/strong>, other PIWI<\/strong>* varieties are being studied: Muscaris, Voltice, Vidoc, Flor\u00e9al<\/strong> and Prior<\/strong>. We will keep you updated on their upcoming introductions!<\/p>\n
